About The Workshop

In class, you will explore how to add depth to your watercolors and mix up color recipes, all while learning which techniques Sarah uses to get the clean, smooth, and vibrant look she is able to capture with her paintbrush. We will be completing a full project in class, together, step by step, so you will have a complete piece of frameable art when you are done. As always, Sarah will provide you with pre-drawn art, so there will be no pressure to draw anything in class. Learn to turn a collection of primary colors into a beautiful neutral palette study that will captivate your imagination. All you have to do is open up the supplies we send you, and tune in online as Sarah guides you live, real-time, through the mindful practice of watercolor in these peaceful and quintessentially Jenni Kayne-inspired hues.

Attendees will receive:

  • Winsor & Newton professional watercolor paints, as sample-size paints in each of the WN line of colors.

  • Sakura of America, Pigma 01 Micron waterproof ink pen

  • Princeton Brushes #selectartiste series brushes in a Round 4 and a Round 1 size

  • Professional watercolor paper of the highest quality (140 # weight 300 gsm Cold Press Cézanne) from Hahnemühle Global

  • A Watercolor Foundations Technique sheet guide
